Best Still - Reader´s Prize DIGITAL PRODUCTION

This award acknowledges the competition’s most convincing digital still based on the criteria of design, aesthetics and effective use of digital software tools. The most decisive factors when choosing the winner should be photorealism, technical execution, character design and the artistic standard of the work. The winner of this category will be identified via public voting with jury´s suggestion of 10 convincing works.

 

Best Character Animation

Assessment criteria: modelling, movement, facial animation, texturing and authenticity

 

Best Postproduction

This award acknowledges the best submission in the whole workflow of digital post-production for film and TV. The key criteria are 3D animation, compositing and visual and non-visual effects. As well live action films but also 100% animated productions are allowed.

 

Best Trailer/Opener

This category acknowledges the outstanding movie trailer, opener or cinematic game intro. General criteria are originality, design and technical realisation in the entire field of post-production. But also a strong dramatury is essential.

 

Best Short

Assessment criteria: character, idea, technical realisation.

 

Best Advertising Production

Assessment criteria: idea, sound, character, SFX, technical realisation

 

Best Interactive Production

Assessment criteria: usability, idea, design, front end

 

Best Game Design

Assessment criteria: technical realisation, character, idea, audio, SFX

 

Best Visualisation

Assessment criteria: technical realisation, idea, didactic

 

Best Young Production

The prize carries a value of EUR 3.000 sponsored by DIGITAL PRODUCTION

Assessment criteria: idea, character, technical realisation

 

Jury's Prize

Submissions that the Jury finds are successful ideas and/or have an especially
prominent combination of image language and technical realisation.
