Digital media and the art of communicating efficiently have become strategic success factors in the technology-driven world of the 21st century. Accordingly, the Macromedia University of Applied Sciences conveys models of thinking and methods with which their graduates can actively shape the foreseeable transformation of our living and working world.

The Macromedia University of Applied Sciences is represented by around 2,600 students and over 80 professors at six locations in the German media cities of Munich, Stuttgart, Freiburg, Cologne, Hamburg, Leipzig and Berlin. The bachelor’s and master’s degree programs cover the entire spectrum of management and media. Degree programs are offered such. Media design, film directing, marketing, event management, international management or sports journalism.

In the 6- and 7-semester bachelor programs Management, Media, Journalism, Music, Film, Art and Design, students choose from a wide range of specializations. Several B.A. study programs are also offered in English.

In order to gain international experience while studying, students of media management as well as media and communication designers complete one semester at one of the Macromedia partner universities worldwide.

The Macromedia Graduate School offers the direct entry into an international career with the courses Brand Management, Creative Directing, Digital Entrepreneurship, Corporate Communications, Design Thinking, Sports Marketing and Marketing Analytics.

All programs of Macromedia University are certified by the accreditation agency FIBAA. In the last ranking of the Center for Higher Education Development (CHE) she reached top positions.
