Jan studied Media Production at the University of Applied Sciences in Darmstadt with focuses on both 3D animation and project management.
During his studies he started working on movies like “Valkyrie” as an On Set Data Wrangler. Since 2006 Jan is working at Pixomondo as part of a global team. As VFX Producer he produced “Hugo Cabret” (Academy Award winner for Best Visual Effects 2011) and won an Emmy Award for the second season of the HBO TV series “Game of Thrones”. His filmography includes , among others, “The Hindenburg”, “2012”, “Sucker Punch”, “Fast Five” and “Diplomacy”.
Recently, Jan has also been responsible for managing and developing the realtime department at Pixomondo, producing amazing interactive content for clients like Siemens, IBM, Vodafone and National Geographic.
