Phil Amelung (Concept Artist at Trixter) will show his approach to creature ideation and concept design using ZBrush.
Starting with the importance of the basics, like defining and researching the background or purpose of the creature before gathering references and researching the relevant anatomy. He will continue showing his workflow, from the first initial sketches in 2D to the creation of a rough sculpt within Zbrush to ideate the primary form, all the way through the different iterations to the finished highpoly sculpt.
